Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

The time is getting very close for Hughes 8 to begin! We have one more team meeting in Austin before we gather together in Gatesville. That meeting is on April 21st, 9 AM at Northwest Hills United Methodist Church. The NWH choir is providing lunch, and a small donation will be requested to cover the costs. I hope you have been using this time between meetings to bake cookies, write letters, obtain sponsorships and invite people to attend the closing. You still have time if you haven’t, but don’t put anything off any longer.

Dave Sutherland, our Treasure, would like to hear from many of you. Please come to the meeting prepared to pay your team fees and turn in sponsorships you have collected thus far. This is very important, because we will need cleared funds to pay the hotel bill before we leave Gatesville on the 6th. Also, you should check with Gary Rose to make sure you have your hotel assignment, as you want it.

This is going to be a busy meeting, so expect to spend the whole time at the church. We have many talks to preview and other team business to attend to. If you have been assigned a talk, please be ready for the critique. We do not critique meditations, but it is highly recommended that those who are giving meditations practice them well in advance.
